After hanging up her royal mage robes, Kaela Ashwind just wants a quiet life running The Dragon Roast Tavern, where enchanted lattes warm the soul and hearth dragon Cinder keeps the coffee hot.

But when the ley lines go on the fritz and giant spiders leave the enchanted forest for the border of Embervale, the Ashkeep awakens. It'll be up to experienced questers, and Kaela will be forced to carry the mantel once more.

Joining her are her loyal hearth dragon Cinder; Gareth a recovering paladin with a flair for guilt and good intentions; and Dana the Devoured a sarcastic gnome rogue with respawn issues.

Kaela's heart is torn but her love of the city, and the hearth, will keep her fighting until her very last scone.
